udith Brown Meyers is a self-described generalist who takes photographs for the sheer joy of connecting in the present moment to the natural world, people she encounters and the built environment. This website is to share some of those present moments with others and to remind us all of the beauty, mystery and challenges of this world in which we are fortunate to live.

Judith resides on the Atlantic and Pacific coasts and has the good fortune to travel for work and exploration to some of the world’s extraordinary locations. Until recently she primarily shot black and white film but is now increasingly relying on digital technology as its capabilities improve.

Her professional background includes creating and managing several companies specializing in public policy, public opinion research and environmental conservation. She received a Ph.D. from Columbia University specializing in South and Southeast Asian studies. Judith studied photography at the San Francisco Art Institute. She is a student of Tibetan Buddhism under the guidance of Dzigar Kongtrul Rinpoche.
